Setting up your TechAlign organization profile is the crucial first step to ensure streamlined performance and data accuracy throughout the platform. Completing your profile establishes your MSP’s identity, unlocks essential features, and ensures team members have the right context for collaboration. Accurate setup supports efficiency, data consistency, and lays the foundation for optimized technical alignment and client QBR workflows.

Accessing Organization Settings

Navigate to the Admin section by clicking your avatar in the upper-right corner and selecting 'Organization Settings.' Here, you can configure organization-wide information including your MSP name, contact details, and branding options. Proper access ensures only authorized Admins and Owners update critical business information.

Completing Organization Details

  1. Enter your MSP’s official name as it should appear on reports and communications.

  2. Add accurate primary business contact details for notifications and client-facing materials.

  3. Upload your company logo for consistent branding in QBRs and assessments.

  4. Set your company’s timezone to ensure scheduling and notifications are accurate for your team.

Initial Configuration Best Practices

  • Double-check every field for accuracy to avoid issues in automated communications.

  • Involve your administrative team or vCIO to verify business details and branding.

  • Review access roles to keep sensitive configuration editable by authorized users only.

Next Steps After Setup

Once your profile is configured, invite key team members (Alignment Engineers, vCIOs, Admins) to TechAlign. Your organization is now ready to create client profiles, launch your first technical assessment, and generate consistent, branded QBRs. A strong initial setup reduces manual corrections and accelerates your success with TechAlign.
